Chapter 40 She Finally Tells the Truth
Breanne was exposed entirely, not even wearing underwear, leading to an instant public
humiliation.
Liam rushed forward, quickly shedding his suit jacket to wrap it around Breanne’s shoulders,
warning everyone to turn away and show some respect.
But it was too late. Everyone had already seen what they shouldn’t have.
Breanne, overwhelmed with shame, collapsed into Liam’s arms, sobbing uncontrollably. Liam
tenderly held her while stroking her hair to calm her down.
I let the room absorb it all. They were finally seeing the truth. It was one thing to see them out together, but it was entirely different to see them display their affection so openly with his mate
two feet from them.
My gaze drifted over to Liam’s father, and Alpha Henry looked like he was going to faint.

Finally snapping back to reality, Stephanie hurried over to pull Breanne away from Liam and quickly
led her off the stage.

He truly was despicable. With an arched brow, I picked up a glass of red wine from a nearby tray.

With a sneer, I suddenly threw the entire glass of wine in his face, shocking everyone in the room. But several women watching this nodded in agreement to the gesture.
Liam, taken completely off guard, stood there with his handsome features marred by red wine, his
pristine white suit ruined.
“Claire, what are you doing? Don’t screw this up for my parents.“He gripped my wrist roughly,
yanking me to his spot.
I stared coldly into his eyes, the anger and resentment I had bottled up surging like a storm ready to break.

Taking a deep breath, I boldly spoke into the microphone.
“Ladies and gentlemen, my mate bond to Liam is over, and the reason for its failure is his
unacceptable relationship with Breanne. All the rumours online about them are true. I can testify to

Breanne’s venomous words flowed freely.
At that moment, all Breanne was thinking about was pinning everything on me, utterly oblivious to
the consequences of her words.
I knew it was her privilege within the pack that had clouded her judgment.

No one touched their extravagant meals or drinks, as the shocking revelations left them
speechless.

How could the know such specific details about the tattooed men and drugs unless she had
tested it herself?

incredible amount of damning evidence. Since Breanne brought it up, let’s allow the attendees to

I pulled out my phone and sent a quick confirmation text to Liyah.
She was in the surveillance room of this prestigious Hotel, with her hacker friends. They have all
the footage I have been collecting and it was time to release the truth to everyone.
There was no more hiding. This pack and Alpha family would have a lot to answer to and I couldn’t
think of a better way to end my mate bond with Liam.
