“Everything is fine. I can handle it. It’s not too complicated at all.” I said.
“Well, if you need anything then you know where I’ll be.” He said, starting to rub my shoulders and I shrugged out of his grasp and got back to work, trying to stay out of arm’s length of him.
As soon as he went back to my office another girl walked over to help me start unpacking the pallet that I was working on.
“Welcome to the warehouse.” She said.
“I guess that happens a lot.” I said, without stopping my work.
“Yeah. And you’re the fresh meat.” She smirked.
“Don’t fucking count on it.” I said. So she walked back over to her station and kept working.
We had to stay until all the deliveries had been made and all the pallet’s were empty.
So we were there until 1pm that afternoon and then I grabbed my stuff from my locker and left the warehouse house and started walking towards the trailer.
I saw Beta Levi standing outside a cafe in town as I passed it, but he didn’t say anything to me. He was just standing there, watching me.
“Hi Morgan.” Someone said, coming out of the cafe.
“Hey Cooper.” I said. 1
“It’s good to see you looking a lot better now.” He said.
“Yeah. Hey, I never thanked you for what you did that day.” I said.
“Don’t mention it. I’d like to think that anyone in this pack would do the same thing. But, we both don’t know if they would.” He said.
“Yeah. That’s the truth. I better get going, I just wanted to say thank you.” I said.
“You’re welcome.” He said. And I kept on walking.
It wasn’t long afterwards when I noticed that there was another guy following me. He followed me all the way to the trailer but he didn’t try anything. So once I got to the trailer, I didn’t go inside,
I went around the side and as the man started to walk around the side as well I punched him in the face, which took him by surprise and I kneed him in the stomach.
He recovered really quickly and when I tried to punch him in the face again, he blocked it and kicked my legs out from under me and I landed on my back.
He held me to the ground with his body weight and I couldn’t move after that. I struggled to get out from under him, but he wasn’t moving.
“Calm down.” He yelled.
“Why the fuck are you following me?” I asked.
“I’m just following orders. The Alpha wants an eye on you at all times, so that’s what I’m doing.” He said.

“The Alpha wants you to spy on me?” I asked.
“No. He wants someone to keep an eye on you. I don’t know why, but he wants to make sure that no one attacks you.” He said. And I looked at him strangely.
“Get the fuck off of me.” I said.
“Are you going to attack me again?” He asked.
“No. I’m going inside.” I said. So he got off me and he helped me up.
I went inside the trailer and I slammed the door.
I went to have a shower and got dressed in some fresh clothes before I put a load of dirty washing in the machine.
I had to hang the clothes lines out in the living room because there was too much moisture outside from the air and the snow that they would never dry out there.
And when the clothes finished washing, I hung them on the lines in the living room.
I looked outside and I saw that same warrior standing outside the house watching me and I grabbed a cigarette and I sat on the kitchen bench, next to the window to have it.
I was interrupted by someone slammed the trailer door shut and when I turned to look, Alpha Logan was storming across the room and he grabbed the cigarette out of my hand and threw it in the sink.
