Chapter 60
“Hi.” She said.
“Fun night?” I grinned.
“Yeah. I guess you could say that.” She said.
“Well, I guess that’s the important part. Isn’t it?” I asked.
“I guess so. I’ll talk to you later.” She said, going down the stairs, heading towards a residential area.
I just shook my head and finished my coffee.
When it was time to leave for school Nathan came out of the house.
“Where are you going?” I asked.
“I’m taking you to school.” He said.
“What? You don’t have to do that. I can walk. I know where it is.” I said.
“I know that. And that’s great that you want to. But it will take you an hour to walk
there and you can’t shift while pregnant. So, let’s go.” He said. 1
I followed him down the stairs and we got in his red sports car and we drove off the territory and then down another road just outside the border.
He drove another few minutes until we pulled up outside the campus.
“I’ll be back to pick you up when you’re finished.” He said.
“Nathan. You don’t have to. I’ll walk. I’m capable of managing on my own.” I said.
“Alright. Just make sure that Ezra knows you turned me down.” He said.
“I will definitely make sure that he knows.” I said.
When I went inside the campus I was really surprised. It looked really glamorous and expensive on the outside, but on the inside, it also looked like one of those human Ivy League Schools.
It was all dark mahogany with great wolf sculptures on the end of the banisters that lead up the stairs.
There were different wood carvings of wolves everywhere.
“Morgan.” Someone sang out to me. So I turned around and it was Jax. One of the guys that Maddy introduced me
1.
“Hey.” I said.
“What class have you got now?” He asked. So I pulled out my schedule and I showed it to him.
“Alright. That’s awesome. We’ve got the same business class.” He said.
“Cool.” I said.
So Jax and I started walking towards our class, which I’m glad he was here because this place was like a maze.
“So, did you have trouble getting here today?” He asked.

“No. Nathan drove me.” I said.
“Oh yeah. That was nice of him. You two seem to be pretty close p>
“Yeah. We’ve gotten a lot closer. It’s hard not to when you live in the same house as the guy.” I said.
“I can imagine. But maybe there’s something you should know about that guy and what a player he really is.” Jax
said.
“Oh, I already know that. Ezra and I call him the man-whore.” I said.
“Alpha Ezra?” He asked.
“Yeah. Alpha Ezra.” I said. I had to start calling him ‘Alpha’. I kept forgetting because he wasn’t an Alpha to me. He was just Ezra. But now that I was a part of his pack, I was gonna have to learn that. But I did notice the look that Jax was giving me.
“Sorry. He was introduced to me as Ezra. He told me not to call him Alpha. I know that I have to start now that I’m part of the pack.” I said.
“Yeah. I was just starting to get the impression that maybe you two were more than friends.” He said.
“And would that be such a big deal?” I asked. And Jax looked at me for a few moments and looked away without answering me.
That worried me slightly. I didn’t want this guy to start having feelings for me, or anything like that. I didn’t want him to think that I wanted to be more than just friends.
He doesn’t even know that I’m pregnant. And I know that would be a massive turn off for any guy. And I don’t
blame him.
We got to our first class and he held the door open for me and we walked inside and took our seats. Jax was making sure to sit right next to me, and seemingly a little overprotective, I guess you could say, whenever another guy looked at me. Because there were people from all over the country attending this pack. And I hadn’t met any of
them before. 1
I was trying to look like I didn’t notice, and I paid attention to the class. That was my main goal here.
