Chapter 87
After that I saw a patrol team go by and they all stopped when they saw me. So I snapped a couple photos of the large wolves in the middle of the forest, standing tall and beautiful.
They were soon on their way and I kept going about what I was doing
I went to several different locations that day to take photos but I was back at the packhouse by lunch time that day
Savannah had woken up and we had lunch together and then I laid out a blanket on the floor for her in the living room and I laid down there with her while playing with some toys.
She was fiddling around with them and playing with them, laughing whenever they lit up and started making
noise.
She had the most infectious giggle that always got me going as well.
Ezra came home that afternoon with Aiden and they both wanted to play with Savannah for a little while.
But it wasn’t too long before I had to breastfeed her and put her down again for her afternoon nap.
Once she was down I was able to do a load of laundry and I folded them and put them away in the proper cupboards and Ezra was in his office while Aiden was sitting at the dining table having afternoon tea.
“So, how was school today?” I asked, sitting next to him.
“It was okay. Those mean boys were picking on that little girl again.” Aiden said.
“Were they now? Maybe I should have a word to their parents.” I said.
“You don’t have to. I sorted them out.” He said. And I looked at him a little concerned when he said that.
“And how exactly did you sort them out?” I asked.
“I told them that if they didn’t stop them my daddy was going to get mad at their parents. And give their parents really bad jobs to do around the pack. So they stopped.” Aiden said.
“Well, that was very mature of you. I’m glad that you didn’t use your fists.” I said.
“No. I would never do that. Not unless they tried to punch me first. That’s what you taught me.” He said.
“That’s right baby. You always have a right to defend yourself.” I said.
“I never knew that a little girl was being picked on.” Ezra said, from the doorframe.
“It’s only been happening for a couple of days. And Aiden seems to be handling it pretty well without us getting involved. But I think if today’s threat didn’t stop them, we might have to get involved.” I said.
“Yeah. Sounds like it. I don’t want anyone getting picked on in my pack.” Ezra said.
“You know my feelings about bullies. It’s never going to happen while I’m here.” I said.
That night we all had dinner together and bathed both of the kids and then we sat on the floor of Savannah’s room to have our nightly family play time.
That lasted for a while before we put the kids to bed and made sure they went to sleep before I went to our bedroom and I went into the bathroom to have a shower.
I was halfway through my shower when I heard the shower door open behind me and I turned around to see Ezra

*Excuse me. Did I give you permission to crash my wonderfully relaxing shower?” I asked.
“No. But you know that would never stop me.” He said. And I smiled at him as he walked closer to me and he got under the stream of water coming down from the ceiling. Almost like it was raining. He grabbed the soap and quickly washed himself and finished washing me as well.
He put one arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him and he leaned down and started kissing me,
He turned me and pushed me up against the tiled wall, causing me to hiss at the sudden coldness on my back but that didn’t stop him. He grabbed both of my arms and pinned them up above my head and leaned down to kiss me again.
He started kissing along my jawline, down to my mark that he sucked on and coaxed a moan out of me and he quickly turned me so I was facing the wall, but he still had my hand pinned above my head.
And all I heard from him was a sly little chuckle and a deep throaty growl at the site that was before him.
