TWO MONTHS LATER
Morning bliss.
I flutter my eyes open, catching beams of warm sunlight spilling into the room, washing over Asher’s breathtaking face and muscled, naked back. He’s lying on his stomach, one side of his face half-buried in the pillow, his deep his gaze wide awake, staring at me.
For a while, I soak in the silence of this moment, neither of us saying anything. I love watching him wake up in the mornings, but today, he beat me to it.
He shifts on his pillow, messy strands of hair sprinkling across his brows.

I bite down on my lower lip, stifling a laugh. “Both p>
He smirks, lifting his head from the pillow. He leans over and kisses me—slow and soft, yet firm. Fire ignites in my veins, slowly waking up my body. I grab a fistful of his hair and tug, deepening the kiss, swallowing the tiny gasps he makes as my tongue teases his.
God, I love him. And I know I’ll never get enough of him.
His hands glide up my arms, reach my shoulders, and slip beneath the straps of my red nightdress. He tugs at the material like he wants to rip it off me this instant.
