“Well, no problem then. Just wait for a few minutes while they prepare your office,” I replied, dismissing my personal assistant so they could get to work immediately.
We shouldn’t delay our helper; she looked like she could change her mind at any moment.
“Please, have a seat,” I said with a small smile.
“Thanks. May I take a look at your plans so I can understand what you really want for the company? I will offer my advice and support based on what you have.”She said.
“And before that, have your people prepare a place for me at your mansion. I will be staying there until everything falls into place p>
“Here it is,” I said, opening a file before her. I couldn’t help but stare at her as she went through the entire thing silently.
“Are you really getting married to him?” I asked before I could stop myself.
Sheela’s POV
I sat at my dresser, beautifying my face all for Christian. This is the time to win over his love, and I’m sure he’ll be heartbroken now that his so-called love is getting married to another man, one who would help him grow his company again. The happiness I’m feeling right now is hard to express—the feeling of wanting something you can’t have is painful. It takes you as far as doing things you shouldn’t, but I’ve been in this position all along, and now it’s time to take action.
I’m going for Christian now, and I will get him this time around, even if it means asking my father for help. I wouldn’t mind doing that as long as I get the one my heart wants, and that is none other than Christian. I will have him all to myself now that Amira, or Emily, is out of the way.
“Sheela,” Luna Vivienne called as she walked into my room without knocking.
“Greetings, my Luna,” I said, ignoring the fact that she didn’t knock. I was in a good mood, and I didn’t want anything or anyone to ruin that.

“Have you thought about what I said to you last night? I’m talking about Amira and Adrian,” she said, making herself comfortable.
“I’ve thought about everything, but I still don’t see a reason why we should bother ourselves with any of them. Amira, or whatever she is now, will be marrying Mr. Mico’s son, and Adrian can always be in safe hands as long as he does whatever he can to avoid seeing her. If she happens to come here, I doubt that will happen in the future,” I said.
“Does that mean you don’t care if that cursed girl is above you in status? Did you even rethink what I said last night?” she asked, looking shocked.
“I did, and I feel we just have to take things easy. I see no reason why we should keep thinking about something we shouldn’t even be concerned with,” I said, smiling a bit. “You should calm your nerves and stop worrying yourself,it would make you age p>
Adrian barged in next, panting heavily, like he had run all the way here. And it was very obvious that he actually had. But why? Why would he be running when no one was after him?
“Why are you here, and why didn’t you knock before barging in?” I snapped at him.
Once Emily is married to Tristan, I will make sure I put him in his place. By then, he won’t even have the nerve to look me in the eye, let alone try to strike a deal with me.
