“What do you want?” I asked.
“It’s Amira. What do we do now that she is in the mansion? If she mentions my name to Christian, then it will be the end for all of us p>

“You understand better, Luna. You should do something about this before I get caught in a tight corner,” he said, more like a threat.
Luna Vivienne’s POV
“Are you trying to threaten me here, Adrian?” I asked with a scoff.
“It’s not a threat, Luna. I’m only trying to draw your attention to this. We both know the danger that looms over us if my name comes out of her lips,” he said.
“So, what do you want to do to stop that from happening?” I asked, feeling a sense of control slipping from my grasp.
He scoffed loudly, and for a moment, I wondered if he had lost his mind, because I’m still the Luna of this pack.
“You are making a little mistake with that question, Luna Vivienne. Your question should be, ‘What do we do about it?’ not ‘What do I alone do?’ If I’m caught, you won’t be safe either. Let’s not do something that would ruin our relationship,” he said.
“You’re threatening me in my son’s mansion, and to think you have the guts to speak to me in such a way is fascinating,” I replied.
“If you don’t take those words back right now, I will report this rude behavior of yours to my son. You won’t just lose your reputation; you’ll also lose your position in this pack,” I threatened.
“I guess you don’t know what’s going to happen, dear Luna,” he said, his voice cool and collected.
“Amira is the only woman your son has ever truly loved. We both know he’s willing to make sacrifices for her. What do you think will happen if he finds out that his mother was involved in her supposed death five years ago p>
“Do you really think you’ll be able to maintain the position of Luna in the pack? Do you even think you’ll have the courage to talk about him being your son, or to make me pay for being rude to you? Let’s reason together, Luna Vivienne,” he said, smirking.
“What do you want from me?” I asked calmly, though his words struck a chord deep within me.
His words were true, no matter how bitter they sounded. Christian wouldn’t hesitate to make me pay for the wrong I had committed in the past, and Everything I have worked for my entire life will go down the drain just like that. I won’t let that happen—at least not yet.
That girl needs to be destroyed before me. I have to witness her downfall with my own eyes, and no one must ever mention her to him again.
But first, I need to take care of this little problem that might stand in the way of my bigger plans.
