Luna Vivienne’s POV
I stared at her curious eyes in amusement. I never expected her to ask about me. This is a surprise because I have never really told anyone about myself or my horrible past. Even Christian, who is my son, has never paid much attention to it. He only sees his mother as a woman who would do whatever it takes to achieve what she wants.
His hunch about me isn’t wrong. When I need something, I will do whatever it takes to get it, even if it means taking a life. That’s why I want him to marry a woman who is exactly like me, and I will continue shaping Sheela to be that kind of woman. Once I have done that to my satisfaction, I will be a fulfilled woman. A Luna’s heart must be as strong as a rock and she must be desperate for things that would favor both her and my son. I don’t really care about what happens to the pack.
“Can you handle my past?” I asked calmly.
“Well, I’ve handled many things in life, so I don’t think your past would be an exception. Please tell me; I really want to learn,” she replied.
“You can’t handle it, but to keep you company, I will tell you a story instead. Are you willing to hear it?” I asked.
“Well, I’m really curious about your past, but since you want to tell me a story, who am I to say no?” she said, eager. “I had no one to tell me stories when I was little, so I won’t miss the chance to hear from someone who could be my mother p>
“You must have had a boring childhood,” I said, trying to sound sympathetic, even though I knew she was abandoned because she was cursed.
“It’s quite boring. Let’s hear your story instead,” she urged.
“Alright, this is almost like the story of Snow White, a very beautiful girl among thousands of women. Her skin was enough to attract thousands of men to her, and would make every man who came across her fall at first sight. That’s how beautiful she was p>
“She was friends with a girl in her village who also looked beautiful, but her beauty could never beat Snow White’s. So, the friend, who also wanted to be noticed, stayed behind her as her very good friend p>

“Which is why her friend decided to pay her back for her evil deeds. Do you want to know how she paid her back? Or better still, what would you do if you were in such a situation?” I asked curiously.
