“Why do you need to do that? As long as she has nothing to do with Christian anymore, I see no reason why we should be bothered about her or see her as a threat,” I said.
“You only know her as my son’s bride. There’s more to her that you don’t know. I won’t rest until I make sure she has no peace and nowhere to stay in this world. She’s bitten off more than she can chew, and she has to face the consequences,” she said.
Well, I guess she has some more personal grudges with her that I don’t know about. I might be interested to find out what they are in the future, but I have no interest in it for now. I just have to focus on my happiness, and we can always have that discussion later if necessary.
“We should head back to the mansion for now. You’ve done a good job,” she said, smiling.
We slowly walked toward the mansion, discussing random things, when a car pulled up in the parking lot.
“Who could that be? Is Christian expecting someone?” I asked, staring at the car curiously. It almost seemed like whoever was in the car was trying to keep us in suspense because they were taking longer than usual to get out, and it made me angry.
“If the person isn’t going to get out, I think we should help them,” I said through gritted teeth. The door opened immediately, revealing Amira standing there in all her beauty, as usual.
This is one reason I detest her—she’s a nobody, yet she’s more beautiful than I am, and it’s unfair for the Moon Goddess to have done that.
“What is she doing here?” I asked in surprise, my gaze fixed on her.
“Oh, it’s my favorite people,” she said, walking toward us with that annoying smile.
“Hi, Luna Vivienne and… Sheela, it’s good to see you two again,” she said, trying to hug me, but I moved back in anger.
“What do you think you’re doing here? Why are you here in the first place?” I asked, trying to hide my nervousness.

“Keep it calm for the sake of your baby, okay? Let me handle this. You don’t have to bother shouting at a nobody like her,” Luna Vivienne said to me in a soothing manner.
“Well, why are you here again?” she asked.
“Why do you think I’m here, our dear?” I asked sarcastically.
“You have no right to be here anymore. You do not belong here, so I will give you this little respect for Mr. Mico’s sake p>
“So while I’m still asking nicely, I want you to get yourself out of here the same way you came in,” she said.
“Well, as much as I would love to, I can’t. Why? Because I didn’t come here for either of you. I thought we were friends. We even went on an outing together, and we planned another one in the future. So what changed?” Amira asked, with her hands on her hips.
“Who would ever be a friend to a cursed girl like you?” I snapped, cutting in before Luna Vivienne could speak.
“Well, since you said we’re no longer friends or acquaintances, that actually makes things easier. My coming here has nothing to do with either of you. I can come and go as I please. I’m Christian’s business partner, and we had work to do before my two-day break, so you should be used to this by now,” Amira said, looking serious.
“You shouldn’t have been here in the first place. You don’t belong here, and you can never be with him. I will get rid of the ridiculous feelings he has for you. So don’t even dream too big,” Luna Vivienne said.
