“I am allowed to dream however I wish, without anyone interfering, so you should mind that,” Amira retorted.
“And you, just because you’re pregnant with Christian’s child doesn’t mean it will be an heir. It might be a girl,” she added, making me flush with anger.
“How dare you? Who do you think you are? Get this crazy woman out of this mansion this minute!” I yelled, glaring at her. I wished I could pull her hair out of her skull, but I had to be careful for the sake of my baby.
“Who are you getting out of here, and what right do you have to do that?” Christian’s voice rang out as he walked in.
He was still wearing the same clothes from the day I announced my pregnancy, and it was clear he hadn’t slept well since then.
“You have no right to ask her to leave,” he said, his voice firm.
Luna Vivienne’s POV
Christian walked toward us, staggering as he desperately made his way to Amira. He looked miserable, like he had never seen a woman before.
“What are you doing, son? You should send this woman out of here this minute. She has no right to be here now that Sheela is carrying your baby,” I said, trying to control my anger.
“I don’t care about any baby she’s carrying. No one has the right to ask Amira to leave this mansion. Whether you all like it or not, she will be my future wife and the Luna of this pack,” he said, making me approach him, only to be greeted with the stench of alcohol.
“You have succeeded in making my son miserable, but not anymore. This all has to stop. You need to leave now.” I said, my voice firm. “My son will become useless because of a cursed woman like you, and I won’t let that happen. Leave now, or I will have the guards escort you out p>
I reached for her hand to pull her away, but unexpectedly, my hands were yanked, making me stumble and almost fall.
“Are you alright?” Amira asked, rushing to hold me before I could hit the ground.
“What did you just do to me with those cursed hands of yours?” I demanded.
“I didn’t do it. Your son did,” Amira said, pointing at Christian, who showed no remorse for his actions.
“Christian, you pushed me because of this cursed girl? Why would you do this to your own mother? I am your mother, and she is a nobody!” I cried, trying to reach out to him.
“Don’t you dare do that. If you are my mother, you will love what I want and respect my decision,” he said, his voice cold.
“Amira is mine, and you will watch how I make her mine. No one has the right to ask her to leave or order her around.” He said, grabbing her hand firmly.
“One minute, please,” Amira said, taking her hand from his and slowly walking toward us with a triumphant grin.
“Well, it is decided by the alpha of the pack. I’m staying, and you have no right to make me uncomfortable. With that being said, I hope we get along well,” she said, smiling.
“Don’t think you have won just because my son let you stay here. This is definitely not the end of this,” I retorted.
