This is Luna Vivienne. She was wearing the same hoodie last night. Does that mean she rushed here last night and killed the nurse?
Why would she do that? What business do they have together? And why are they so bothered about my visit? The nurse had also been blackmailing her for a secret they’ve both buried, but my coming here made Luna Vivienne come all the way here to take this woman’s life. I think there’s more to all of this, and I’m definitely going to find out.
“Drive me to the hospital, and I need you to send this video to me,” I instructed as I got into the car.
Does Luna Vivienne know about my birth parents? What does she have to do with me?
I need to make some inquiries at that hospital. If that woman is really a nurse and works there, then whatever they are hiding must be on those hospital premises.
“I would like to have a record of everything that happened during the time Nurse Beth worked here,” I said to the receptionist.
“And who are you to request such an important document?” the nurse asked, glaring at me.

“What is going on?” I heard Tristan’s voice, making me turn around to see who he was talking to. I was surprised to see Emily, looking all sweaty and panting restlessly as though she had been running.
“I have an urgent request to make, so I had to run from the garage,” she said, sitting next to me.
“Is everything okay?” I asked, staring at her, and she nodded in response, still trying to catch her breath.

“I’m fine,” she replied, nodding her head.
“You should drink this,” I said, passing the water I had been about to drink over to her.
“Thanks, Dad,” she said before gulping it down.
“What’s the problem, and what urgent request do you have to make at this time of night p>
“Well, it’s about my findings. I’m very close to the whole truth, but I found out—or better yet, heard something else—that’s shocking to me,” she said.
“And what could that be?” I asked, leaning forward. Tristan also sat close to her, desperate to hear what she had to say.
“I think Luna Vivienne is involved in this whole thing, but I don’t know why,” she said.

“Why would she be involved with your birth? What exactly did you find out that made you think she’s involved?” I asked.
“I started the investigation as soon as I got to the Moonlight Pack. I visited the orphanage home I grew up in, and I was lucky enough to meet the head of the place before she traveled out of the country and before the building was demolished. She showed me the place where I was dumped and also told me they treated me like a curse because this paper was found in the baby shawl I was wrapped in,” she said, bringing out an old note.
