I nodded slowly in agreement, making him hug me once again. Now I see why Dylan takes after him—he is his biological grandson after all, and he takes after his grandfather.
Amira’s POV
I had planted a spy at the Moonlight Mansion when I found out that Luna Vivienne and Sheela were the masterminds behind everything that happened five years ago.
I planted a spy among the maids, someone who had been kind to me when I was still a maid in the pack. I never paid much attention to her because I didn’t expect anything significant to happen around the mansion. But it was quite surprising to receive a call from her.
“Did anything happen?” I asked.
“Yes, actually, it’s about Sheela and the baby she’s carrying,” she said.
“What about it?” I asked.
“Alpha Christian isn’t responsible for the pregnancy. I caught her putting some drugs in his water the day you went out with Luna Vivienne. They had the whole thing planned. It was a sleeping tablet, which would also boost his libido. I guessed it was to make him sleep with her, so I swapped it for a normal sleeping tablet p>
“I was there the whole time and recorded everything. They didn’t do anything together, but I’m surprised she’s claiming to be pregnant. I’m sure the child doesn’t belong to the Alpha. She’s pregnant by someone else and is trying to pin it on him,” she said, handing me her phone.

If she isn’t pregnant by Christian, then who is the father of the child she’s carrying?
“She can’t become the Luna because the pup doesn’t belong to the Alpha. You’re the only one who can reveal the truth to everyone,” she said, looking around.
I guess today is a good day for me. Finally, everything is falling into place.
Christian’s POV
“Are you serious about what you just asked?” I walked up to Amira in desperation.
“Yes, the child in Sheela’s womb isn’t yours. There is evidence to prove that. I have the video of everything that happened that day right here,” she said, showing me her phone.
“Does that mean nothing happened between us that day? And she’s actually not pregnant with my child?” I asked in surprise.
“The child isn’t yours, and that’s what surprised me. If she isn’t carrying your child, how did the doctor confirm that she’s pregnant? Whose child is she carrying?” I asked.
