Christian’s POV
It’s been two days since the incident. Though everything seems calm, my mind is in turmoil. It has to be, after discovering everything my so-called mother did—not only to me but to the woman I love and her family.
I can’t believe she birthed me, but then, she is my mother. I really wish Amira had not intervened when I wanted to strike her down. That would have lessened the guilt on my mind. But the fact that she is still alive, well, and still in this pack gives me endless worries.
She has committed so many atrocities without stopping. Instead, she used one to cover up the others, never thinking that nemesis would eventually catch up with her. She lived her life as if she were the only one in it.
She doesn’t want anyone to rise above her or even come close to her. She betrayed friendship and humanity all because of her greed and jealousy. For the first time since I was born, I’m ashamed to call her my mother, or even say that she’s related to me by blood. This is embarrassing.
She’s now in her chambers under house arrest until I’m ready to pass the right verdict on her. I’ll be giving her punishment today, but I need to see her one more time. There may be another reason behind everything she’s done. I really hope there’s a tangible reason for her actions.
I’ve summoned the elders, including Mr. Mico and his family, now including Amira, Tristan, and my son.
I never wanted to release him, but he needs proper care after everything he’s been through, so I had to let him go. They would all be here today.
I walked slowly to her room, taking a deep breath before opening the door. There she was, seated, staring into space like an innocent woman about to be punished for a crime she didn’t commit.
“You’re here,” she said hoarsely before turning to look at me.

I did it to make sure you were able to secure your position as alpha and become the most powerful alpha in all the werewolf packs.
