Tristan’s POV
It’s been months already, and everything has been going well for everyone. Everyone has found their own love—except for me.
I still can’t get over that girl I saw in the woods the other day. The girl who seemed so innocent, weak, and injured—it was love at first sight, and I caught it well. But, apparently, she turned out to be my sister, though not by birth.
I still have the right to be with her if I want to, but Mr. Mico taught me well. He adopted me when I was little and treated me like his own son.
I’m now a mature man who can face anything in life. This isn’t about him being partial; it’s what he would tell Amira if she were in my shoes.
I’m lucky to be his son, and I’m glad I made him proud. I’m proud that he is also proud of me.
Emily is my sister now, and I’m even more happy that she’s closer to me as a sister. Though not the lover I once wanted, she is a sister I will forever cherish.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked, walking close to me.
“Well, just thinking about everything. I can’t help but feel grateful to you for adopting me in the first place,” I said with a smile.
“And I’m even more happy that you turned out to be the man I wanted you to be. Thanks for being obedient to me, for always listening to me, and for being the man you are today,” he said, hanging his arm around my shoulder.
“I should be more thankful that you trained me well and didn’t neglect me, despite everything everyone said to you,” I replied.
“It’s all good. So when are you going to find yourself a Luna worthy of having you? A reliable Luna who is kind and accommodating enough to help you run the pack?” he asked.
“Well… I don’t think that’s going to happen soon because I’m still not ready to settle down with any woman for now,” I said, scratching my head nervously.

“I understand, considering what happened with Emily. But she has made her decision, and we should respect it. We should stand by her no matter what p>
“Don’t worry, Dad. I’ll work on that aspect soon enough. I’ll make sure I choose the right person so that, together, we can make you proud,” I assured him.
“It’s fine. I trust you will do that. But now, it’s time to make plans for your sister’s next step in life. Are we ready to do that?” he asked with a smile.
“I’m always ready. I’ll be heading to the Moonlight Pack now to handle some things with Christian. We’ll signal you when it’s time for her to appear. Make sure you keep your phone close,” I instructed before walking away, a smile plastered on my face.
She’ll be very surprised by this because it’s different from the first one. There won’t be any distractions this time around. It’s been months since Dylan was found, and everything has returned to normal. The only threats to the packs are gone.
The Gothams are gone for good, and Mr. Mico happily stepped down, allowing his son to focus more on his children and his grandson, Dylan, who now visits the pack occasionally.
Christian actually made the rule because he wanted to make up for the time he had missed in his life, and he’s been doing a good job of it.
Amira, on the other hand, kept waiting for him, hoping he would formally propose to her. But it was taking longer than she expected, and it almost seemed like a dream that might never come true. Christian is mostly busy with work and pack affairs.
Whenever he comes to Mr. Mico’s mansion, he acts as though she’s become invisible, unaware of the effect his distance has on her. Yet, she kept it all to herself, hoping that one day he would do the right thing. But it’s taking too long.
“Emily,” Mr. Mico called, walking toward her, and she rolled her eyes upon seeing the envelope in his hand.
He was here, as usual, to have her deliver a package to Christian. It always hurt whenever she did that, because he barely even looked at her when she went there. It felt like a waste of time.
“Dad, I’m not going anywhere,” she said, looking away.
“What do you mean by that?” He asked, his voice rising. “I’m sending you to give this to Alpha Christian, as you know. Just deliver it to him and come back. I told you that you won’t leave here until you’re engaged and married to him, so deliver this and get back here right now p>
“Fine,” she said, taking the envelope from him with a forceful gesture.
She walked into the mansion, hoping to at least get his attention. Fortunately, he was seated in the living area, buried in his work.
“Hey,” she said, startling him slightly.
“What’s that for? Can’t you see how busy I am?” he snapped, making her withdraw, feeling rejected.
“I was only joking with you,” she said quietly.
“You should know the difference between when to play and when to be serious,” he scolded with a frown.
“I’m… I’m sorry p>
“My dad asked me to deliver this to you,” she said, placing the envelope on the table before turning to leave. But she stopped, her eyes widening in surprise.
“I knew this would take too long to happen, but I hope you can forgive that,” he began. “Together, we’ve passed through the test of time. Together, we’ve made the impossible possible. We’ve rebuilt what was destroyed. You made me a father, but I need more. You are more than just a lover to me, and I ask for more, which is why I’m asking you p>
“Will you marry me? Be my Luna, my wife, my friend, my lover, the mother of my children, and everything I want in a woman p>
“Amira Wallace, please be my wife,” he pleaded, his tone sincere.
“Who am I to say no?” she said, smiling as she answered his question with a yes.
After passing through the test of time, they came out victorious and happy.
