AsJulianne saw that Irvin showed signs of wavering, she cried even harder, “ trin, 1 didn’t d’t mean to “her! I just wanted to make her angry. It was really an accident that she fell off the cliff and got so badlybert/”
She continued, “If I really wanted to kill her, I would have let them do it when they kidnapped her. Why would wait until you arrived?
“And you know that cliff isn’t even that high. Why would I choose such a short one if I wanted her dead? I really, really didn’t mean for her to die. That was just an accident
Julianne sobbed pitifully. It was such a heartbreaking sight that even the coldest person would feel sorry for her. Let alone Irvin, who had pampered her so much that it had become a natural instinct to him .

On the day of the exam, Shaun knocked on my door early in the morning. He had brought me breakfast – an egg sandwich and yogurt.
On the sandwich, he had written the number “500” with sauce .
When I opened the lid and saw the “500“, I couldn’t help but laugh. “That’s so confident of you.”
The full score for my entrance exam was 500.
Shaun looked at me innocently. “It’s not that I’m confident. I know you can do it! You had perfect scores in every subject back in high school. And even then, the exams could only test so much. You definitely knew way more than what was on those papers!”
Remembering my glorious high school days, I got more confident. I had never feared an exam back then, and I had always known I would be the top scorer.
Becoming a housewife for a few years had seriously worn away my confidence and pride.
After happily finishing the breakfast Shaun had prepared, I told him that I would treat him to a feast after my entrance exam.
