It was Simone. She was marching toward me, but my bodyguards stopped her before she could get close.
“How dare you, bitch!” she shrieked.
Simone was a complete idiot. Hence, she still thought I was the same person she could bully easily.
It was a waste of time to talk to someone as dumb as her, so I didn’t even acknowledge her. I merely led Cordelia and Noah away from her as I didn’t want a nonsense–spouter like her to ruin our good mood.
Simone tried to chase after us but was incensed when my bodyguards blocked her again.
I used to be like a doormat that she could casually walk all over. Hence, she expected she could still treat me the same way. However, not only could she no longer do so, but she never expected she wouldn’t even have the right to talk to me.
This infuriated her so much that she screamed in public. Everyone around her immediately stared at her as though she was insane, which only infuriated her more.
But then, she came back to her senses and quickly called Irvin.
“Irvin! You have to get your money back from that bitch Emilia right now! Do you know what she’s doing with it? She’s using it to spoil her boy toy! I just caught her buying so many things for him!” she complained.
Simone was crazy jealous because I had bought enough things to fill a large room. She had never been brave enough to buy so many things, so how could I? What right did I have?
Irvin was in the middle of a discussion with Quinton when Simone called. He frowned when he heard what Simone

“I thought I’d told you not to talk about Emilia like that. This is your final warning! I’ll cut ties with you if you ever do it again! And you can forget about getting money from me if that happens!” he threatened.
