Agatha knew no matter how much of a fuss she kicked up, Irvin would never come and see her. Thus, for this routine suicide threat to work, she dropped my name.
She knew I was Irvin’s ultimate weakness. So, as long as I was involved, he would still come. Even if he couldn’t think of anything Agatha could have done to me, he would still visit her just in case. After all, he wouldn’t risk anything happening to me–and that was all she needed.
Sure enough, the moment Irvin heard Agatha had done something to me that might harm both me and the babies I was carrying, his cool, calm gaze instantly darkened.
Irvin couldn’t imagine what Agatha could’ve possibly done to me when William was protecting me. And just like she had predicted, he still decided to go see her, just in case.
Agatha’s mind was truly getting worse. Her mental state was deteriorating with each passing day. But when it came to helping Timothy, she could always perform beyond expectations.
Upon receiving Irvin’s agreement to visit Agatha, the orderly who called him went straight to her to report it.
While the orderly had been bribed, she didn’t know what Agatha planned to do to Irvin. She merely assumed Agatha wanted to see him to convince him to allow her to leave this place. Thus, she was very composed. Her demeanor was the main reason Irvin didn’t suspect a thing
