Grace had pinned all of her hopes on Timothy. She even planned on how they were going to fight back after they had rested enough.

Although she was paler than Magnus, she still managed to step forward to hold his shaking body. “Magnus, you have to hold on! Be strong! Tim’s gone. If something happens to you too, I don’t know how I’m supposed to continue living.”
When Magnus returned to his senses, he turned to Grace and noticed how pale and stunned she looked. Then, he thought of something and sighed.
After staying silent for a long while, he said, “I’ll get someone to send you away later. I have a manor and a small business in Fellando, so you should live there.”
Both Agatha and Timothy died when Irvin visited her at Hospital 320 for the first time. Because of that, Magnus realized that Irvin truly had changed. Irvin wouldn’t even spare his own family’s life.
Needless to say, Grace would be in danger, especially since she stirred up some trouble between Irvin and me. Because of her, I couldn’t be with him. So, Magnus was certain that Irvin would be dealing with Grace after killing Timothy.
It was true that Grace had done something wrong, but it was for everyone’s sake. She only did what she did for the Hardwell family. Since she was a thoughtful daughter–in–law, Magnus couldn’t just leave her to die.
Everything he was going to give her would be enough for her to live out the rest of her days, and he would’ve done his part as her family.
Grace knew she never would’ve cared about the assets Magnus was about to give her if this had been her in the past. Instead, she would think he was too stingy for giving her so little.
However, she was grateful at that moment. After experiencing true devastation in life, she finally knew how precious life was.
In the past, she was arrogant and wanted the best in life. She wanted to be in charge of the Keller family and the Hardwell family. Now, she only wanted to live the
est of her life in peace.
Grace knew she was useless for thinking like that, and it wasn’t how she would have acted in the past at all. However, she had to adapt to the changes and accept them when things weren’t going her way.
Since she wouldn’t be able to defeat Irvin, she could only escape miserably. In fact, it would be great if she could escape successfully!
“Thank you, Magnus. However, I should leave after Tim’s funeral. Since he has died so suddenly, as his wife, I should…”
As she spoke, she started crying until she couldn’t say another word. Seeing that, Magnus felt bad for her.
In hindsight, Grace had a tough life. After her stepmother entered her world, her life became miserable. Then , she married the unreliable Timothy, who didn’t care about her at all when she was pregnant and faked his death. Because of that, she lost her first child.
When she was finally pregnant again with twins, he came back from the dead and caused a lot of trouble.
