Chapter 81
Dante Castelli.
Seated at my table in the cafeteria, my eyes never left my little bunny. He was at Fox’s table, chatting, laughing at something the other had said. That part was fine. What bothered me was the presence of that damn rookie,
Predator,
How ironic.
He earned that nickname not just for the cold way he hunted his prey, but for an even more despicable habit–taking what didn’t belong to him.
Married women. Committed men. Allies of others.
Nothing was off–limits to him.
I’d seen that behavior countless times over the years, and now he was sitting at my Elijah’s table, staring at him like he was just another obstacle in his way.
If that little punk, barely out of diapers, thinks he can have something that belongs to me, he’s sorely mistaken.
If he dares touch what’s mine, I’ll take great pleasure in torturing him. It won’t be a quick death, like it was for those who hurt my bunny before.
No.
I’ll make sure his pain is drawn out–make him beg for it to end before I grant him the mercy of death.
The rage still burns in me when I remember the state Elijah was in after that fight. The fact that someone dared lift him off the ground only to throw him back down, bruised and bleeding, drives me mad.
My obsession with him has only grown stronger these past few days.
If I wanted him before … now I need him.
I want to dress him, feed him, be the only one who takes care of him.
Be his first and only choice.
I want his first thought upon waking to be of me.
And when he sleeps, I want his final breath to whisper my name.
And now, my newest obsession has become even more addictive:
Seeing the desire in his eyes.
Watching his shame slowly melt away.
Knowing he wants me just as much as I want him.
It’s a game I can’t stop playing.
Watching him surrender, little by little.
Seeing hesitation vanish.
Watching fear turn into need.

But it’s not enough.
It’ll never be enough.
I want more.
I want Elijah to be just as obsessed with me as I am with him.
I want his mind to be flooded with thoughts of me.
I want him to crave me so intensely that he acts on impulse.
That he reaches for me without thinking.
That he touches me without hesitation.
That he can’t even imagine being apart from me.
I want his heart to race when he sees me.
His breath to falter when he touches me.
His whole body to tremble at the mere thought of losing me.
My eyes drifted to the hallway.
The warden was there.
I grimaced, annoyed to pull my attention away from my bunny.
But this couldn’t wait.
I turned to Tony.
“Keep an eye on him. If anyone approaches, kill them p>
He swallowed hard but nodded.
“Yes, boss p>
I got up and walked to the warden, leaving the cafeteria and stopping in the hallway.
“Talk. I don’t like leaving my bunny unattended p>
He sighed, adjusting his tie as if trying to steady himself.
‘I did what you asked p>
A smile tugged at my lips.
“ And when is he arriving? ”
“Soon. The judge already sent a vehicle to retrieve him. He’s living with your boy’s ex –girlfriend.
Just hearing that woman’s name made me grit my teeth.
The fact that Elijah once loved someone other than me infuriated me. But in the end, it didn’t matter.

Chapter 81
I am his present.
And his future.
“And the girl?
A malicious smile curved my lips.
‘Send my men to drop her off at a brothel. Let her serve every man there until she’s no longer useful. And when the baby is born, leave it in an orphanage. I’m not a monster–I don’t kill newborns. But after the delivery, you can get rid of her. I won’t allow her to keep breathing after what she did to my bunny p>
The warden nodded, trying to mask his discomfort.
And his parents?‘ I asked, crossing my arms.
He hesitated for a moment before replying.
“What do you want done p>
“I want them erased from this world. Just like they erased the existence of their son p>
He shuddered. He knew I wasn’t asking for a simple execution. I wanted them obliterated – wiped from every memory, every trace.
“ And the FBI?” I pressed, impatient.
He cleared his throat, visibly tense.
“They’re still watching. Tried planting a spy in here, but we neutralized him before he could cause any trouble–thanks to your man inside the bureau. ”
Llet out a humorless laugh.
“Idiots. So focused on me they don’t realize we’re already one step ahead. I’m tired of being here. Tell my agent to stir up enough chaos to shift their attention away from the prison p>
He nodded.
“ Yes, sir. I’ll inform them p>
I turned my back to him and headed back to the cafeteria with a satisfied grin.
My bunny was in for a surprise. I asked the warden to convince the judge to sentence that bastard brother of his and send him here.
He played around too much.
Het him be, gave him space to enjoy himself.
Now, it’s time to pay.
As I reentered the cafeteria, my gaze immediately found the table where my bunny sat. The air was thick with tension, heavy and tangible. Elijah was talking to Fox, but the presence of Predator at that table made my blood boil.
The gleam in his eyes made it clear–he was plotting something.
What exactly?
I didn’t know yet.
But if it involved touching what’s mine, he wouldn’t live long enough to regret it.

As I approached the table, I watched Predator notice me. The bastard gave me a slow smile, full of intent, like he actually thought he had a chance.
As if some seductive look would be enough to catch my attention.
I rolled my eyes and ignored his existence.
