We finished our shower and stepped out of the bathroom, clean and dressed. My hair was still loose, dripping slightly at the ends. We walked together toward the wing’s exit, but before moving any further, I stopped and looked at my bunny.

I noticed the immediate surprise in his eyes.
Maybe he hadn’t expected me to ask something like that, but I didn’t want to make him feel insecure again.
After everything we’d been through, his peace of mind was my priority.
He smiled, soft and calm, and linked his arm with mine.
“No, I don’t mind. Thank you for asking p>
I smiled gently and kissed his damp hair. We walked hand in hand toward the cafeteria.
When we arrived, the atmosphere seemed lighter than usual.
Some inmates were laughing loudly, clearly satisfied about something that had happened.
A faint smirk appeared on my lips.
They’d definitely had fun with that bastard David.
Good.
My eyes scanned the room, and I spotted Tony sitting next to Fox.
Tony’s expression was tense, as if he were still processing something serious,
Elijah led me directly to them, where two trays of food were already waiting on the table, and we sat down.
I wrapped an arm around my bunny’s waist, pulling him closer.
“What’s with the look, Fox? Something happen? The inmates seem pretty hyped today,” Elijah asked, confused by the change in energy.
Fox grinned mischievously.
“I heard your brother got arrested. And it seems like some of the inmates had their fun with him last night p>
I glanced at Elijah, watching his reaction.

No shock, no anger, no sadness.
His face remained calm, and that made me smile with pride.
“But how did you know he was my brother?” he asked, curious.
Fox rolled his eyes, as if the answer were too obvious.
“You’re silly, Elijah. You two look a lot alike. Same hair color, same eyes, same skin tone. The only difference is the shape of your face, but it’s impossible not to notice. ”
Elijah nodded, accepting the logic.
Fox leaned in a little, meeting his gaze.
“And how do you feel p>
He sighed, staring at the tray of food in front of him for a few seconds before answering.
“The only thing I find horrible is the rape. No one deserves to go through that. But… what he did to me is unforgivable. If the Reaper weren’t here, I would’ve ended up just like him p>
I frowned at hearing him call me that but quickly understood. Fox and Tony still didn’t know my real name.
And Elijah, as clever as ever, knew how to keep it a secret.
I kissed his hair gently, feeling immense pride in his strength.
We started eating in silence, each of us focused on our own plate.
But soon Elijah and Fox got distracted with a lighthearted conversation, laughing at silly things and teasing each other softly, making the environment more bearable.
Despite the constant chaos of Inferno Bay, for a few moments, everything felt… normal.
Then the air shifted.
Every gaze in the cafeteria turned to the entrance.
I instinctively looked up and saw David stumble in alongside PH.
The murmurs died down, and the silence that followed felt almost reverent.
PH was an imposing figure–two meters tall, skin dark as night, muscles carved by th

His cold eyes scanned the room with calculated disdain.
He was a known gangster, convicted for murder, drug trafficking, extortion, and countless other crimes no one dared to list.

He looked away and went right back to laughing with Fox, as if the man before us was just another nameless face.
It hit me hard.
My bunny… So sweet, so fragile when he arrived, now he displayed remarkable self–control.
It wasn’t indifference. It was strength.
I saw in his eyes the certainty that justice–twisted and cruel as it was–had been served.
David was paying.
And nothing needed to be said.
Suddenly, Tony gave a subtle nod, almost unnoticeable.
I followed his gaze and immediately understood.
