She had believed that after all those years together, Benjamin’s concern and love
for her had at least a shred of sincerity.
Now she knew it was all a lie.
He hadn’t even treated her like a human being.

“Rebekah, ye finally found your family!” Old Mr. Forrester cried, his voice trembling and his eyes red. He hurried toward her seemingly oblivious to her injuries, and held out a paternity test report.
“You are the Hawthorne family’s daughter, the one who went missing eighteen
years ago!” He looked at her with overwhelming affection.
Rebekah was frozen. Even Rory was stunned.
*Was this old man crazy?* The little sister his family had finally found
couldn’t possibly be the Hawthorne’s long lost daughter besides the Hawthornes didn’t have a lost
