The next day, I wrote a letter and dropped it in front of my door, stepping out of the residence soon after to give my so-called secret admirer time to drop a response.
The letter was basically me agreeing to see them so we could talk, and I made sure to make my words suggestive.
Whoever the person was, they’d definitely be drawn in like a moth to a firefly.
Anyway, when I came back later that day around the afternoon, I wasn’t surprised to see a new letter in front of my door.
“Ugh, why do I feel like a love-sick teenager?” I rolled my eyes even though I was secretly enjoying the whole thing.
I ripped open the letter and smirked when I saw its content.
Now I was sure more than ever who the person was. I would’ve never guessed at the beginning but now it was obvious.
The new letter was from the person telling me that we should see in the same garden where I’d dumped Miranda’s body some nights ago.
She said she’d wait there at midnight.

“Looks like I have a date, Rowland.”I blurted when I stepped into the house, walking through the grand foyer.
My partner materialized beside me, seemingly excited. “Oh, with who p>

“With the culprit who’s been sending these letters.” I flung the letter at him for him to read it. “She suggested we meet at the garden where I dumped Miranda’s body. By midnight p>
Rowland’s mouth formed an ’O’ as he sat on one of the sofas. “Well, you’ll go for it, right? Nothing really dangerous about that p>

Midnight soon came and with it, the time for my little ’date’ arrived.
I dressed in a black jacket and black jeans pants, styling my hair in front of a mirror before walking out of the house.
I arrived at the garden with a bored expression on my face, scanning my gaze around.
The moon hung in the sky, making the sight of the flowers and the little pond at the corner look even more magical, but there was nothing ’magical’ about this meeting.
Where is she?
“Hi A small voice called my attention, forcing me to swerve my head in its direction.
As expected.
I scrunched up my nose, tilting my neck. “So it’s you,” I muttered.
The person who stood in front of me was none other than Brittany. No surprise there.
Ever since she approached me yesterday, I knew something wasn’t right.
But I hid all this, faking a cough before smiling at her. “Brittany, what a pleasant surprise. Do you happen to be a peculiar admirer who’s been talking to me through letters?” I asked, feigning oblivion.
Her shy smirk widened as she nodded. “Yes, Beta Negan. I– I’m the one who leaked information about the affair to the rest of the pack. But just so I could get Luna Phoebe out of here through all the shame p>
I couldn’t help myself from chuckling, placing my hand over my mouth.
“That is deliciously devious,” I remarked, walking toward her. I glanced around the garden and added. “Nice location by the way. It’s quiet p>
She nodded but seemed to ignore the tone I used in saying that. There was a reason why I liked the place being quiet.
“Do you really think what I did was good? You… You said you liked it in your letter and also when I overheard you.” She acted more shyly now even though she was also walking toward me.
When we got close to each other, she placed her hands on my shoulder, seeming all innocent.
I smirked, enjoying the attention and her delusions a little more than usual.
Focus, Negan!
“Of course, I love what you did.” I blurted, touching her hand while maintaining eye contact. “You’re one brave girl, Brittany. And I’d like to have you as mine p>
Her eyes widened with excitement, her rosy cheeks getting redder with a blush.
“Are… Are you being serious, sir?” She asked in disbelief.
When I merely nodded my head in response, she squealed excitedly, wrapping her arms around my neck, her petite breasts pressing against my chest.

Brittany soon regained her composure, covering her mouth when she realized that it was nighttime and we were alone.

I began to trail off as my meticulously crafted ’good Beta’ mask, which I’ve been wearing for so long, began peeling off.
Brittany’s facial expressions began to change with each revelation, but I hadn’t even gotten to the juiciest part yet.
