Hans took the folder doubtfully, pulled out the documents, and after a single glance, his face changed drastically. He forcefully shoved the papers back inside.

Hans cut her off coldly, throwing the file at her. He then turned to enter the conference room again.
“I’m guessing my father was murdered because he found this out,” Penelope said calmly.
Her words successfully stopped Hans in his tracks. Just then, Yvonne, sensing something was wrong, hurried out of the meeting room.
“Grandpa, why aren’t you coming in?” she asked, then noticed Penelope and frowned. “Penelope, what do you want? Are you not happy until you’ve taken everything from me p>
Penelope had no interest in getting into a fight with Yvonne and blurring the issue. She pushed the folder back into Hans’ hands, took a step back, and shrugged nonchalantly.
“Believe it or don’t. This doesn’t really have much to do with me. I’ve said my piece. I’ve done all I can do.” Without giving Hans or Yvonne another chance to speak, Penelope turned and walked away.
Yvonne huffed. “I told you she’d come and make trouble. I was right p>
She looked at Hans. “Grandpa, let’s go in. The shareholders are waiting for you p>
Hans’ expression was grave. If Penelope had been persistent and argumentative, he would have dismissed her as a troublemake Her words and actions would have meant nothing. But she wasn’t. She gave him the documents and left.
And thinking again about the two paternity tests in the folder, could they really be fake?
“Grandpa, what’s wrong?” Yvonne asked, tugging on his arm when he didn’t move.
Hans looked up at Yvonne and
paused for a moment before asking, “With your father’s current condition. do you think it’s better to stop his treatment or to do everything possible to save him p>

“The hospital called me again just now. Your father’s condition became unstable, and they had to resuscitate him p>
