Listening to Jasmine’s hysterical sobs, Autumn felt a wave of gratitude for having had a good mother, growing up under her love and protection.

Autumn knew the Far family valued sons over daughters. She thought maybe things would have changed after all these years.
But no-they had only gotten worse, forcing Jasmine into a life of sacrificing everything for her brother. It was horrifying to think about.
