The faces of everyone present were filled with disbelief. After a brief moment of shock, the reporters quickly recovered.
The camera was pointed at Mia Chapelle, zooming in for a close-up.
Ruby Ford trembled as she pointed at Mia, but couldn’t utter a word, as if her soul had left her body.
Daniel Alden closed his eyes in despair, his body unconsciously going limp, fortunately supported by the police behind him.
