I still can’t believe you’re really getting married, Anna,” Sasha said, standing beside me in the dressing room, already looking emotional like she was about to cry. She kept fiddling with her fingers and blinking too fast. “It just feels like everything’s happening so fast p>

I looked at my reflection and barely recognized the woman staring back. The silver–white
gown shimmered under the lights, screaming royalty. The bodice hugged my shape just enough, and the long, embroidered train trailed behind me majestically.
This wasn’t just any wedding. It was a royal one. An official one. A full–blown Luna coronation and wedding ceremony combined into one massive event that was about to change everything. The last time I was supposed to be inaugurated beside Ryan, things had gone to shit, and I never even got to stand beside him in front of his people like I was supposed to.
But now? Now things were finally falling into place. I was taking control again, of my life, of my choices, choosing what I wanted, not what anyone expected of me.
And yeah… before I forget, a few weeks ago, I sent my final letter to the European Werewolf Council, thanking them politely for their patience and letting them know that I wasn’t accepting the throne. That I didn’t want it. That I was choosing peace, choosing my life. And I gave them my full blessing to hand over the crown to the best candidate who truly deserved it… who actually wanted to rule, and would lead with peace and unity.
And to my greatest surprise… they listened.
The European Werewolf throne, which had always been passed down through bloodlines, stuck in centuries–old tradition, was finally being opened up to democracy and fair leadership. The dressing room door burst open and Mom rushed in first, nearly tripping over the hem of her gown. “Oh, my baby!” she squealed, eyes wide and sparkling with pride.
Behind her came Grandma and Omega Agnes, both already teary–eyed.
“You look beautiful,” Omega Agnes said, pressing a hand to her chest like she couldn’t even believe what she was seeing. “Absolutely breathtaking p>
“Thank you,” I said softly, fighting the lump in my throat.
“I can’t believe I lived long enough to see this day,” Omega Agnes added, wiping a tear from the corner of her

Grandma stepped forward, holding the crown in her hands. It wasn’t just decorative. It was platinum with actual diamonds woven into its structure, heavy but elegant. She placed it on my head gently, her hands lingering for a second longer.

The hall was pure royalty. Packed with pack members, noble guests from other packs, and even representatives from the Council, all standing respectfully and watching as the ceremony began.
Ryan was already standing at the altar. My heart skipped when I saw him. He looked… God, he looked perfect. He wore a tailored silver suit with faint platinum embroidery along the shoulders and cuffs, sharp and regal, matching my gown exactly. A thin silver sash ran across his chest, clipped with a platinum wolf emblem, and a small circlet rested on his head. His eyes were fixed on me, and the second we locked eyes, everything else just faded.
Chris and Alex stood beside him, equally proud.
Dad stood next to me, quiet but solid. He hadn’t said much all day, but I knew what it meant for him to walk me down the aisle. I clutched his arm tighter as we stepped forward.
Sasha walked ahead of us, holding my bouquet, wiping her tears with the back of her hand like she couldn’t keep it together. She was trying not to ruin her makeup, but failing badly.
As we reached the altar, Dad placed my hand in Ryan’s, nodded once, and stepped back.
The Pack Priest raised his hands and began the ceremony.
“Alpha Prince Ryan, do you take Anna to be your bonded mate, your Queen, your Luna, to lead beside you, to rule with you, and to share both strength and heart as one? Do you vow to protect her as your equal, to trust her judgment as your own, and to uphold the honor of your bond before the pack and the realm p>
Ryan’s voice was steady, firm. “I do p>
Then the priest turned to me.
“And you, Anna, do you take Ryan to be your mate, your King, your Alpha, to stand with him through peace and through storm, to lead with wisdom, and to bind your soul to his in both love and power p>
I didn’t even pause. My voice came out clearer than I expected. “I do p>
The priest gave a solemn nod. “Then, before the Moon and before your people, I seal this sacred bond, not merely as husband and wife, but as Alpha and Luna, rulers of the Dark Moon Pack. You may now honor your Luna with a kiss p>
Ryan didn’t hesitate. He pulled me into him and kissed me hard, full of everything he couldn’t say out loud, and the hall exploded with cheers and applause,
