But moments later, Skyler’s face fell. “She said someone else is already picking her up p>
“You didn’t ask who it was?” Gordon said.
“Nope.” Skyler shrugged. “What for? Caitlin’s gorgeous-she probably has loads of admirers. I doubt she’ll ever be short on people willing to pick her up p>
Alaina Sylvester walked by, chiming in, “Exactly. So if someone here wants to win Catie’s heart, he’d better act fast before she gets swept up by someone else p>
Skyler nodded in agreement. “Mom’s right, Uncle p>
Gordon dismissed them with a calm denial. “Don’t be ridiculous. I don’t have that kind of interest in Catie p>

Alaina snorted. “Oh please, as if she’d say yes to you even if you did. Get over yourself p>
