Jacob saw the light in her eyes and knew she must’ve had some solid wins. She looked completely satisfied.
That afternoon, the two of them stayed mostly in the inner auction zone.
The inner zone’s stones were clearly of higher quality than those outside-but so were the prices.
Jacob handed Lilian a bidding slip and explained, “If you want anything, just write it here. For events like Morovia’s public auction, bidding must be done under a company name. Individuals can’t place bids p>
Lilian accepted it with a nod.
She ultimately listed eleven stones. To avoid drawing attention or trouble, she even included a few average or useless ones.
For the next two days, Lilian didn’t return to the auction site. Since she rarely had the chance to travel, she didn’t want to spend all her time studying raw stones.
Despite its underdeveloped economy, this country was ich in scenery and culture-its pointed, domed buildings and street bathing scenes were unlike anywhere else in the world.
