“So… are you planning to go?” Fawks asked, sounding thoughtful.
The Sorens were an old-money family in Kingston, though they had always kept a low profile and never followed convention. This sudden move to auction off a piece of their estate had shocked everyone. More importantly, the land itself was undeniably tempting.
“Foster will go in
my place,” Sebastian said flatly.
“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” Fawks pressed. “I know you don’t need that land, but it’s in the most strategic spot in the state. And more than that-the auction’s being held at the hot spring resort. You could take Lillian along and make a trip of it p>
