Wayne’s expression had cooled, his tone sharp as a blade. “Oh, really? Looks like Memo Entertainment is quite the big name. My apologies then; Skyreach Group clearly doesn’t deserve you. No need to save me the courtesy, please, see yourselves out p>
His sudden appearance stunned everyone in the room.
Linda stepped forward, addressing him politely. “Mr. Wayne, Memo Entertainment’s director, Ms. Rachel, is here to see you p>
“Ms. Rachel?” Wayne’s eyes, cold and distant, flicked toward the woman standing nearby. “Sorry. Don’t know her p>
Just as the director opened her mouth to respond, a woman with a bright smile approached from the lounge area.
“Mr. Wayne,” she greeted warmly, her tone as polished as her appearance. “It’s such an honor to finally meet you. I’m Lisa, from Memo Entertainment. I’m here today to discuss our potential collaboration on the upcoming film.” She extended a fair, elegant hand toward him.

Watching her, Lillian couldn’t help but acknowledge the woman’s skill. She could bend and stretch as the situation demanded; even when facing deliberate hostility, she remained composed and poised. That kind of self-control was rare.

Without another word, the two of them headed toward the elevator.
“You’re really not afraid of offending Memo Entertainment?” Lisa’s sharp voice rang out behind them.
“In Kingston,” she continued, more measured now, “Skyreach Group might not have the deepest roots. Offending Memo Entertainment at this point doesn’t seem like a wise move, wouldn’t you agree, Mr. Wayne? We were in the wrong earlier, but we’ve already apologized, so I hope you can let this slide, for everyone’s sake p>
Her words gave them pause.
