Nina retreated behind Mino. She was genuinely afraid of this kind of relentless clinging. She had encountered people like this before—after she rejected them, they still followed and harassed her.

Sensing Nina’s fear, Mino didn’t say a word—he acted.
Countless ice spikes shot toward Sano. Sano dodged quickly, but even with his fast reactions, his arm was still pierced and injured.
Mino said coldly, “Get lost. And don’t ever come back to bother Nina. If you do, I will kill you p>
Seeing Mino preparing to strike again, Sano knew he was no match for him head-on. Swallowing his resentment, he turned and fled.
Sal’s eyes darkened. It seemed he really needed to recover his strength as soon as possible—otherwise, just any stray creature would dare to harass his little female.
Nina finally let out a breath of relief. At last, he was gone. Hopefully, he truly wouldn’t come back again.
When Sano reached the outskirts of the tribe, Dora stopped him.
“You’re Sano from the Elder’s tribe, right?” Dora said.
Sano glanced at her indifferently. She was wearing a face covering, her features unclear.
Ever since the sacrificial ceremony, Dora’s face and body had inexplicably begun to itch, breaking out in disgusting bumps. The shaman healer thought they were insect bites and prescribed medicine, but it never improved—only worsened. To hide the bumps on her face, she had started wearing a veil.

“I have nothing to cooperate with you on,” Sano said disdainfully, lifting his foot to leave.

At Nina’s name, Sano stopped and turned. “You have a way to make her accept me? Are you her friend p>
“I’m not her friend,” Dora sneered. “But I do have a way to help you get her p>
“What way?” Sano asked.
“She has Mino by her side—someone that powerful. It’s normal she looks down on you,” Dora said calmly. “But if Mino weren’t around, wouldn’t you have a chance p>
Sano’s expression grew dark. How could Nina possibly look down on me? It’s all because of Mino interfering. If Mino weren’t there, Nina would definitely like him.
“You can make Mino leave Nina?” Sano looked Dora over. “Even if you’re nowhere near as pretty as Nina, you might still manage to seduce someone like Mino. When a female takes the initiative, very few males can resist. If needed, I can help you p>

Dora was furious again. “No. I have other methods p>
If she could seduce Mino, would she need to come to him?
“Then what’s your plan?” Sano asked.

Sano frowned. Take Nina away? But would she really agree to be with him like that?
She rejected him now only because of Mino. Once Mino was gone, she would surely accept him. And if he hid her away, he could have her all to himself.
It wasn’t entirely impossible.
“But I can’t defeat Mino. How would I take her?” Sano asked.
“Nina only has Mino with her,” Dora replied. “He can’t stay by her side forever—he has to hunt eventually. Once he leaves, you can seize the opportunity and take her p>
Dora knew Mino had a storage space, allowing food to last longer, so he didn’t need to hunt every day—but supplies would eventually run out. He’d still have to leave periodically.

This female is truly vicious, he thought. Even a child is not spared.
Dora said nothing more. After agreeing on hiding spots and signals, Sano left.
Watching his retreating figure, Dora turned to the mate beside her. “Go fetch Miye and bring her to see me. I’ll be waiting at home p>
She needed to prepare a backup plan.
Her mate acknowledged and left at once, while Dora quickly returned home.
When Miye arrived, Dora was reclining on her bed. Two mates were massaging her, one was peeling fruit to feed her, and several others were bustling about preparing food.
