Just then, a loud roar tore through the sky. A flashy, high-end hovercraft streaked past above them, racing through the air like it was showing off. It was so loud and eye-catching that it felt like the whole street shook.
Joanna’s expression changed instantly.
That kind of luxury hovercraft cost well over a hundred million. It could even be used inside public dungeons. In Violetlight City, only a handful of people owned something like that.
Joanna knew exactly who it belonged to.
Kayden.
This guy was the top rich kid at Trinity High. Both of his parents were level-40 professionals, and they ran powerful companies under a massive group. In Violetlight City, their family was a force no one dared to ignore.

The girl in his arms forced a smile, clearly embarrassed. Joanna’s face turned darker than it ever had before.
In the end, Lucas and the others stepped in and blocked Kayden. Only then was Joanna able to leave safely.
From that day on, Joanna always stayed with her teammates at school. Kayden likely held back because all of them had S-rank talents and had promising futures. He did not want to offend them outright.
