She played her conversation with Willow.

Every word was verbatim.
Willow’s face went dark red, like he had just been slapped a million times,

The judicator clearly had plenty of experience and summed it up

Willow’s flushed face turned purplish out of embarrassment.
That was exactly what happened.
This judicator is unbelievably blunt. Why is she speaking so bluntly?
But judicators existed to make things clear and explain reasoning plainly. Persuasion mattered more than flowery language. If rules were explained vaguely, it only led to endless disputes, which didn’t work in the Space Alliance’s rapid trial system.

Willow didn’t have access to that level of computation, so many of his own estimates had been inaccurate. Joanna did have that authority.

She just hadn’t expected Willow would actually sue her.

Joanna watched the numbers stream across the display.
