Chapter 420 The Gilded River
She saw the towering phantom of Francis standing guard over the human sector of the Gilded River.
The phantom was just a combat projection-Francis wasn’t fully present here. He had his own Law-Tier research to do.
The moment Joanna arrived, his gaze turned toward her.
Joanna nodded in greeting, then headed for the outer perimeter.
She’d been gone about ten days, and the human territory had actually shrunk. Other races had sent in serious fighters. Neither the Space Alliance professionals nor the Myriad-Race Alliance’s human warriors could hold the line.
They’d been pushed back steadily.
Now that Joanna was here, the tide would turn.
She reached the edge of human front just as a skirmish broke out.
Golden light erupted from the Gilded River-a new treasure. It had surfaced in human territory, but the Tusked Boar tribe charged in to seize it.
“Benjamin, grab the loot p>
Joanna moved to intercept.
Under her mental control, dozens of massive Tusked Boar warriors froze mid-charge. Benjamin sprinted to the river and grabbed a huge chunk of celestial gold sand.
“Human, die p>
A Tusked Boar the size of a skyscraper broke free and charged.
Benjamin felt the gap between them and dove straight into the Gilded River.
The Tusked Boar stopped. Then laughed.
“Pathetic race. So panicked, you jumped into the Gilded River? I won’t even need to kill you myself. Throw the rest of them in. Let the river turn them into gold statues p>
But the instant his psychic energy swept outward-
A horrifying pull dragged him downward from below.

The Tusked Boar couldn’t resist. He plunged into the Gilded River, felt the crushing weight of liquid metal press in from every side, and was transmuted. A massive golden boar statue.
It was dead.
Joanna’s eyes lit up.
Benjamin’s combat instincts were razor-sharp. He exploited the environment perfectly, and the result exceeded all expectations.
With Joanna in the fight; the battle flipped instantly. The humans claimed the treasure. Over 30 Tusked Boar warriors were killed. A devastating loss for the enemy.
The survivors retreated. The human side erupted in cheers.
The soldiers here were Decennial human warriors. Their leader was a high-tier fighter.

Joanna exchanged pleasantries.
She also joined the group chat Adam had set up.
In the ten days since she’d been away, the Space Alliance professionals had worked hard. A regional network was now up and running.
Space Alliance professionals could communicate and share coordinates through the network.
But the Myriad-Race Alliance’s humans, lacking the system, had to rely on communicator devices and old-school messaging.

Integrating them into the Alliance would take time.
Besides, unlike the Interstellar Universe, the Decennial Universe had a much higher power ceiling. The environment was exceptional.
The Space Alliance’s real interest was conquest, not recruitment.

With that in mind, Joanna sent Nighthowl, Alwyn, and the others back to the Joanna Dimension to train in the Godfall Land.
She and Benjamin would grind levels here in the Gilded River.

Benjamin waved excitedly, then wrapped Joanna in a golden shroud and pulled her into the river.
His treasure-hunting instinct was incredibly sharp.
Plus, his magnetic field let him control the Gilded River’s gravity. He wouldn’t be transmuted into a gold statue.
Curious, Joanna followed him down into the river that made everyone’s blood run cold.
With Benjamin’s magnetic field sustaining her, she felt weightless. He held her hand, wrapped in a golden veil, and they shot through the river at incredible speed.
