The Heartbroken Luna’s Choice: Banish Love
Chapter 395
Third Person’s POV
Howard, who had been silent the whole time, finally looked up.
Finished
His clouded but sharp eyes locked onto Trista. “We’re here to settle the score between you and Cassian,” he rasped. “Shadowfang has nothing to do with this p>
Trista walked right up to the former Alpha, staring him down. “I’ve said it a thousand times. Cassian and I are finished. There is no ‘score‘ to settle. Now, get out of my house. ”
Howard leaned on his cane and slowly stood up with his bodyguards‘ help.
He looked at the three members of the Silverlight family like a judge handing down a death sentence. “I want you out of Los Angeles. Immediately p>
Trista stood frozen for a second, then let out a sharp, angry laugh. “I don’t care how much weight Ironthorn throws around in this city. Unless I say so, we aren’t moving an inch p>
“I wasn’t asking,” Howard said, his eyes like ice.
Wilmot gave a sharp signal, and the black–clad security detail burst into the living room.
Ulva grabbed her daughter, terrified. “I already called the cops! The LAPD won’t just stand by while you do this! ”
Randolph’s face was flushed with rage. Years of suppressed humiliation finally snapped. He lunged forward and grabbed Wilmot by the collar. “My daughter has nothing to do with him! If you touch her again, I will kill you myself p>
Wilmot let out a cold snort, and the two men started brawling right there. The sound of crashing furniture and low growls turned the room into a war zone.
“Dad p>
“Randolph p>
Just then, the front door was kicked open.
Isaiah and Attwater charged in like two rabid young wolves.
Isaiah moved like a blur–he got Wilmot in a chokehold, twisted his arm behind his back, and slammed his face onto the marble coffee table.
“Listen up, old man,” Isaiah growled, his claws beginning to slide out. “Try acting tough now. I dare you p>
Attwater ran into the kitchen and grabbed a boning knife, ready to fight to the death. Ulva desperately
tried to hold him back.
Attwater kicked Wilmot hard in the back of the knee, making the older Alpha groan in pain.

He shouted at Isaiah, “We can’t take all those guards outside, but we’ve got this fossil! If we’re going down, he’s coming with us p>
Howard’s face went purple. He slammed his cane against the floor. “Let go of my son! Or I’ll make sure none of you see the sunrise p>
Even as Howard made threats, the Ironthorn guards hesitated. Isaiah had Wilmot pinned, and they didn’t want to risk the Alpha’s life.
Howard looked at Isaiah, his voice a low threat.
“Alpha Isaiah, if you don’t stop this, don’t expect me to play nice with the Locke pack p>
Isaiah looked up and spat on the floor. “Bring it. Let’s see if anyone in the Lockes blinks p>
Howard didn’t waste another word. He pulled out his phone and dialed the Locke Alpha’s number.
Trista saw things spiraling out of control. She grabbed Isaiah’s arm. “Isaiah, stop! Let him go! This is my family’s mess, don’t get dragged into this p>
She knew how these Ironthorn men worked–especially Wilmot. He was vengeful and dirty.
By laying hands on him today, Isaiah had just made a permanent enemy of a very dangerous wolf.
Isaiah was at the edge of a feral breakdown. “No! Someone needs to teach this old bastard a lesson p>
To drive the point home, he used his free hand to smack Wilmot across the back of the head.
Wilmot was shaking with rage, letting out desperate, animalistic snarls. He looked like he was about to have a stroke.
Howard tucked his phone away, his gaze turning as cold as a winter tundra. He gave the order: “Finish these two. Dead or alive p>
Trista’s heart sank.
Just as the Ironthorn guards were about to swarm them, the screech of tires echoed from the driveway. Fred and Wynn burst through the door, half–carrying a semi–conscious Cassian.
‘Isaiah, let go!” Fred shouted, throwing himself between the two groups.
Wynn saw her father pinned to the table and her eyes welled up, but she forced herself not to cry.
Cassian was a ghost–pale from the blood loss.
He pulled away from Fred’s support, one hand clamped over his bleeding stomach. Every step looked like he was walking on broken glass.
He finally managed to prop himself up next to Trista, his voice weak but lethally cold.
He scanned the wrecked room and looked at his elders. “Grandpa. Dad. What are you doing at Trista’s
house? ”

Before they could answer, Trista cut in with a cold laugh. “Your grandfather and your father just ordered my family to get out of L.A. Apparently, I’m the ‘stray‘ who’s getting in the way of your precious alliance with the Tundra Pack p>
Cassian swayed on his feet, his face going dark with fury.
Wilmot, humiliated and desperate to save face, pointed a finger at Cassian and roared, “Cassian, look at what you’re protecting! She’s letting people treat your own father like a dog! Do something! Teach her a lesson, now p>
