“You’re already aware of this, so why are you making a fuss now? If you’re envious of Remy’s extravagance, you could hire eight to ten bodyguards to follow you too.” Josh didn’t need bodyguards because he was skilled in martial arts. The two were discussing business when the secretary knocked on the door.
“Mr. York, here’s the coffee you requested.” The secretary delivered the freshly brewed coffee and placed it gently in front of Zachary.

Zachary’s expression darkened. A romantic rendezvous? He sensed tension between him and Serenity. Although she had come to pick him up for lunch, he wasn’t pleased about it. Serenity hadn’t said anything or shown anger, yet Zachary felt she might never come to his office again.
“What’s with the long face? Did you two argue? I thought your wife was good-natured,” Josh commented. Serenity didn’t strike Zachary as unreasonable.
Zachary remained silent for quite some time, withholding the reason from Josh. Although Josh was generally tight-lipped, he had a curious nature. Zachary worried that if Josh learned too much, he might inadvertently reveal everything when drunk. Still, Zachary wanted to ask Josh for advice.

“You don’t need to know how I hurt her,” Zachary replied. “Just tell me what I should do p>
“Give her a gift—something nice like a floral arrangement,” Josh suggested. “You should bring it to her yourself instead of doing something half-hearted p>
“The most straightforward method is also the most effective one,” he added. “All you have to do is surprise her with it, and I guarantee she won’t stay mad at you.” After Josh finished speaking, Zachary kicked him again.
In response, Josh got up and dragged his chair far away from Zachary, making it impossible for him to kick again. “You two will be considered husband and wife once you get a marriage license,” Josh continued. “All married couples have sex. Are you both planning to stay abstinent forever?” Zachary frowned at this. He didn’t even allow Serenity into his room for fear she might take advantage of him. Likewise, he was hesitant to enter Serenity’s room, worried he might see something he shouldn’t, reminiscent of their first night together.
“But I guess that’s your usual style,” Josh remarked. “After all, your nana forced you to marry her. You might even get divorced soon.” Knowing Zachary well, Josh sensed that their relationship was merely a formality on paper, resulting in a rather dull existence.
“Are you looking forward to my divorce?” Zachary asked gloomily, taking a sip of his coffee.
Josh smiled and replied,
“Why would I anticipate your divorce? That doesn’t benefit me at all. I just know that, given your temperament, you likely don’t intend to spend the rest of your life with Serenity. You married her for your grandmother’s sake; otherwise, you wouldn’t have kept your marriage a secret. Hiding your marriage is unfair to your wife. She will feel wronged because of it. If you don’t care about her feelings, it suggests you don’t plan to stay with her for the long term. In this situation, it’s actually better for her to keep the marriage a secret for her own protection. That way, she won’t be affected and can remarry after your divorce.” For some reason, Zachary felt uneasy after hearing Josh’s analysis, particularly when Josh mentioned the possibility of Serenity’s second marriage.
