He recalled Serenity occasionally mentioning how Jasmine’s family had been pressuring her to get married. Just the other day, Serenity had accompanied Jasmine on a blind date at Beans and Cream.
Did Jasmine intentionally behave that way at Mrs. Dawson’s birthday party to enjoy some peace and quiet? Perhaps this would deter her family from pushing her to marry.
“Ms. Sox made quite a scene lying on the floor. Everyone in our circle heard about her,” Josh added.
He smiled and continued, “The girls in our circle wouldn’t just lie on the floor, even if they were drunk; etiquette is ingrained in them. They still manage to appear graceful, even when inebriated p>
After a brief pause, Zachary turned to his friend and asked, “So, do you prefer an elegant drunk or a wild one p>
“I haven’t thought about it. But if you really want to set up a blind date for me, go ahead. I’ll meet Ms. Sox and see what her standards are. Just make sure not to reveal my true identity p>
“Are you taking notes from me?” Zachary replied. “Yeah, am I not allowed to follow your lead p>
Zachary chuckled. “Be my guest. I’ll head home tonight and ask my wife to mention it to Ms. Sox. If she’s interested, I’ll arrange for you two to meet, so you don’t envy my married life p>
Josh was left speechless.
He had never been envious of Zachary.
After Zachary signed several important documents, he stood up and said to Josh, “I’m off work now. Don’t call me tonight unless our company is on the brink of bankruptcy p>
Josh checked the time; it was only four o’clock in the afternoon.
He followed Zachary out, grumbling as they walked, “Zachary, did you even check the time p>
“Is it really? It’s only four o’clock! That’s way too early to leave work. You weren’t like this before; you used to want to work until midnight p>
“I wasn’t married before, but I am now p>
Josh was left speechless.
Zachary was proudly displaying his marital status again.

Mr. Chaplin looked over in astonishment when he heard Mr. Bucham singing.

Zachary paused and said, “Nana told me privately that Serenity thinks I’m too cold and serious, like a rock. She even said that if she jumped me, she wouldn’t be able to enjoy it for fear of chipping her teeth p>
“Pfft! Hahaha! Tell her she’s welcome to jump you anytime. Even if her teeth break, you can just buy her some gold Grillz! That way, she won’t have to worry anymore p>
Zachary kicked Josh in response to that comment.
Josh’s office was on the 66th floor. After being kicked, he reluctantly exited the elevator and trudged back to his office to work for Zachary.
