His answer was, of course, sincere.
“If I had known the sea breeze would be so strong and chilly, I wouldn’t have asked to come here,” Serenity admitted.
Once she donned his jacket, she felt an immediate warmth.
She tilted her head to look at him, and their eyes met. He remarked, “Even though I’m cold, I won’t shrink like you. I’m wearing a long-sleeve shirt, after all. It’s definitely warmer than your short-sleeve blouse p>

Zachary pursed his lips and smiled, hugging her a bit tighter. “I planned to take you to the beach for a nice seafood dinner this weekend, but since Liberty is going to talk to Hank about the divorce, I doubt you’ll be in the mood for a holiday with me. Instead, I’ll treat you to a seafood supper later tonight p>
