“Seren, my mom called and asked you to come home with me. We need to start preparing for the event p>
She then turned to Zachary. “Seren made you an early dinner. The food is ready now. Would you like to eat here or take it with you p>
Zachary glanced at Serenity, hoping she would stay with him.
“Let’s have dinner before you leave. I’ll join you p>
Serenity knew him well; his appetite improved when she was nearby.
She personally cooked three meals a day to help him regain his strength.
“We typically don’t eat much during the event, so we should have a bite to eat before we go.” Seizing the opportunity, Elisa set the table and grabbed a cloth to wipe it down. “You’re heading to your hometown this weekend, right, Seren? Do you mind if my mom and I come along p>
“I’d love to see where Aunt Lisa used to live. I’m sure my mom would enjoy that too p>
