Oh? Was that true? Was Gideon always coming to Silvermoon to threaten Ryan? I remembered how easily he’d fallen into a jealous rage when he’d seen mine and Ian’s shadows in the pack house embracing.

It was eerie how my rant echoed the Rogue King’s sentiments about the callousness of pack leadership. He might be fucked up in how he was going about accomplishing his agenda, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t a tiny bit right about why he was so angry.

Ahead in the parking lot, a blacked out sedan was idling. As I froze on the edge of the asphalt, the door opened and Gideon stepped out, dressed in an all black trench coat.
