The moment he entered, every single pair of eyes turned to him.
He was the picture of a modern celebrity-strikingly handsome, dressed in the
latest streetwear, just like his fans imagined him. But right now, he seemed like he was here to defend Calliope Jewell.

People shot confused looks at Ulysses.
Wasn’t he supposed to be on the Jewell family’s side? Shouldn’t he be tearing into Calliope, angry like the rest?

“Uly, what are you doing here? Didn’t you have something important to take care of?” Valerian Jewell shot his brother a warning glare, hoping Ulysses, even if he wasn’t going to help, wouldn’t make a scene.
