Teresa froze, looking down at her belly. Her feelings were complicated. She was already fifteen weeks pregnant. She was so curious that she asked about the baby’s gender today. She just wanted to be prepared.

Rebecca chuckled, “Two sons! Great! You don’t have to worry about her safety or anyone in the family who favors boys over girls p>
But as Rebecca spoke, there was a hint of sadness in her eyes.
Jennifer said, “My sister and I were both hoping for a girl. The first one is a boy. Girls are just easier p>

Rebecca kept watching them until Donald’s car drove off. She was amazed.
She wondered why Teresa ended up with a jerk while her sister found a great guy.
