After his meeting, Jonathan found out Teresa had come to pay him back. He knew the money was from Evelyn, and gave Teresa a call.
“I was in a meeting and just finished. If you’re free, can we meet?” asked Jonathan.
“There’s no need,” Teresa replied. “It’s my mom who wanted to pay you back. She’s planning to take my sister to Gorthany. The 2.6 million dollars we owed you and she’s returning it now, so she can finally feel at ease p>
