Vivian Sinclair completely lost her composure, gasping in disbelief.

If he lies there and catches a cold… will he remember everything when he wakes up and settle accounts with her?
Vivian hurriedly grabbed a blanket, randomly opened it, and tossed it onto the man before hastily escaping the room without daring to glance back.

The maid lowered her head, her face flushed.
Vivian stepped forward: “Need what p>
“Beware of lying, or I’ll ask Butler Turner; any lie will be exposed p>
“You’re sneaking around Mr. Thorne’s door, acting suspiciously. Must I spell it out p>
The maid trembled, almost collapsing to her knees.

Then she took off running.
