The moment I slammed Alpha Foster into the concrete, my wolf was begging to be unleashed. It had been decades since I’d shifted in public, but the primal need to tear this man apart–this monster who had hurt Summer and Felix–was almost overwhelming.

Sean attempted to flank me, but Ethan intercepted him with brutal efficiency. Around us, my security team was systematically neutralizing Alpha Foster’s men while tourists fled screaming. Disney security
would arrive soon–we needed to end this quickly.
Alpha Foster’s face was turning an interesting shade of purple when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I
would have ignored it, but the specialized ringtone told me it was Summer. Without releasing Alpha
Foster, I pulled out the phone.
“Summer p>
Her voice cut through me like a blade. “Alexander! It’s Felix–he collapsed. We’re rushing to Orlando
Memorial. Emergency. Please- ”
My blood ran cold. “I’m on my way p>
I dropped Alpha Foster like the garbage he was, slamming him once more against the pavement for good
measure. “This isn’t over,” I growled. “But my son needs me p>
The look of pure hatred in Alpha Foster’s eyes shifted to something else–shock, perhaps even fear at the
casual way I’d claimed Felix as mine.
“Carson,” I barked, “finish here. Make sure these fuckers understand the consequences of following us

I was running before Alpha Foster could respond, pushing my body to its human limits. The nearest
hospital was ten minutes by car, but in this traffic… I pulled out my phone again, calling my driver.

The black SUV screeched to a halt beside me thirty seconds later. I jumped in, barking, “Orlando Memorial. Emergency entrance p>

As the car surged forward, I pulled out my phone again and hit another speed dial.
“Ethan,” I snapped the moment he answered, “get Dr. Miller on a private jet. I want him at the hospital before I get there p>
“ Yes, Alpha,” came the immediate response.
The drive was the longest seven minutes of my life. I called Summer twice, but she didn’t answer, which
only increased my panic.
The SUV hadn’t fully stopped when I leaped out at the emergency entrance and rushed inside.

She was there–face pale as paper, tears streaming down her cheeks as she spoke frantically with a doctor. When she saw me, she broke away and ran into my arms.
“He’s in surgery,” she sobbed against my chest. “His–his heart… they think it’s failing p>

“He just collapsed in the car. One minute he was fine, talking about you, and the next…” Her voice cracked. “The stress triggered something. The Doctor says the damage from last year was worse than they thought p>
I guided her to a chair, keeping her close. Hospital staff bustled around us, throwing glances at my
bloodied knuckles and torn shirt. I didn’t even notice. All I could think about was Felix.
I cupped her face gently, forcing her to meet my eyes. “Listen to me,” I said firmly. “I’ve already
dispatched a private jet. Dr. Miller is on his way and will be here any minute. He knows Felix’s case better than anyone p>
