Chapter 68
VALENCIA’S POV
“Okay,” I started to stand from my place, but before I could, Shadow used his werewolf speed and appeared right in front of me.
“You must be feeling shy. Let me help you with that,” He said before he bent, his lips brushing across my earlobe.
My toes curled involuntarily at his proximity as the ambiguous position we were in earlier appeared in my head while he snuck his hand around my waist, pulling me close before he lifted me up and placed me on the table.
I looked at him, confused.
He was deliberately complicating things for me. Why was he making it look like it was some big deal when it wasn’t?
“What kind of help? I don’t need any help in kissing you on the cheeks. It’s easy-” I started, but Shadow smirked before placing his finger on my lips.
“Who said I want a kiss on the cheeks? Since the help is bigger this time, don’t you think the kiss shall be bigger too?” He asked, and I furrowed my brows.
“What do you mean?” I scowled at him.
There is no way he was trying to demand my first kiss, was he? I am not going to kiss him on the lips for sure.
’You don’t want to give him your first kiss, or is it that you are afraid once you kiss him on the lips, there will be no going back anymore?’ Aurora asked, and I paused.
I raised my head and looked into Shadow’s eyes. The kind of gaze he was beholding was ethereal, even unreal.
No one has ever looked at me like he was looking at me at the moment.
There were just so many emotions swirling that scared and excited me at the same time.
For the first time, I wasn’t confident. I did not know how to answer Aurora’s question.
Why? Because I was unsure and felt she was probably right.
Maybe I was afraid, afraid that if we got something more going on between us, more than what we could call a friendship, there would be no going back, and the thought alone scared me.
“Let me kiss you,” Shadow said, and I closed my eyes when he leaned into me.
My hands clenched around my jeans involuntarily as I anticipated his kiss.
However, to my surprise, rather than kissing my lips like I had thought he would, he bent and kissed my collarbone, his thumb gently making space for his lips as he pulled my top away a little.
I thought he was being gentle by not taking away my first kiss, and it was nothing intimate.
But I was wrong. I have never been so wrong.
The moment he licked my skin before sucking the area, a shaky moan immediately left my mouth.
“Mmm,” I bit my bottom lip as his warm breath caressed my neck while he kissed and sucked my collarbone, making it impossible for me to stay still.
I don’t know when my legs wrapped around his torso, or when the hell I pulled him close to me, my hand going straight to his hair.
I know he was just taking away his part of the bargain, and it was more than a collarbone kiss, but why the hell was it making me so weak? It was all me.
He wasn’t even moving from his place. I was the one who wrapped my legs around him, and pulled him closer, as if he wasn’t kissing my collarbone but my breasts.
As I wondered about such things, obscene and indecent thoughts about what his lips would feel like on my breasts, sucking my nipples as I have read in those books, or how his kisses would feel on my stomach, below my abdomen, started to engulf my head, and I closed my eyes involuntarily.
“Do you like it?” Shadow asked me somewhere in between, and I gulped before nodding in my haze.
“Do you want more?” He asked and I bit my lower lip before nodding again.
“Guide me,” he whispered, making me lose control and my strength over my body as I leaned heavily on his teacher’s desk, unsure of what was happening to me.
One moment I hated the fact that he was kissing me or acting like a hooligan, but the next moment, I wanted nothing more than his hands all over my body.
“Kiss my lips,” I whispered, finally giving in to the temptation.
“Your wish is my command, Mitsuki,” I heard him whisper before he grabbed a fistful of my hair and tilted my head.
He was about to place his lips on mine when we heard a knock on the door, and it was more than enough for me to snap out of whatever haze it was.
I widened my eyes and quickly evened my clothes before jumping down from the table.
“What do we do?” I asked him, flabbergasted, and he smiled at me.
Why was he smiling? Why was he panicking? I was losing my mind.
What would people think about us now? They will think I was having some kind of forbidden romance with my teacher to gain extra points. I gritted my teeth, and the man shook his head.
“Stop overthinking it and sit down on the chair properly,” he said, and I did as he told me.
As soon as he opened the door, we saw the dean walking inside, and he probably saw the panicked expression on my face.
“Sir, I know the HOD said to discipline her, but please don’t be too harsh on her. She is just too outspoken,” The dean said, and I looked at Shadow.
He brought me here to discipline me.
“I know, sir. However, since the HOD asked me to do so, I have to discipline her. And I was actually doing it before you came. However, you are right. I should hold back,” He looked at me intensely, and I looked down at my feet.
“You won’t make the same mistake again, right Valencia?” The dean asked me, and I hummed before nodding.
“Well, I just came to check up on her. As I said, don’t be too harsh on her. The exams are coming too. You can continue what you were doing,” The dean said before he left the room, and Shadow bolted the door again.
“You… How could you-” I started, unable to complete my sentence when he walked to me
“Shall we continue where we left as the dean mentioned?” He asked, and I locked my jaws before leaving the room.
I swear he deliberately does that all to get on my nerves.
I went straight to the washroom to clean myself down there, which always reacts terribly whenever Shadow is around.
Once I cleaned myself, I looked around and since there was no one, I gently pulled down the side of my top, my eyes widening when I saw a hickey.
What the hell?! This guy has to be kidding me.
