“For them to call you to court, that means you’ve signed the contract,” Veyron said. I lifted my gaze to him, questioning.
He was right. The court session, sacred between the human region and werewolf territory, wouldn’t have allowed my name to be broadcast or any divorce announced, unless both parties had signed the papers.
My heart skipped a beat. Reality began to dawn, and then my phone rang. The screen read Neils White, my brother–in–law. Judge. He own the firm my lawyer also worked.

Slowly, I rose, eyes locked on her, silent fury simmering. I prayed it wasn’t true. If it was… she’d be dead.

Blinded by rage, I stormed to my desk, sweeping everything to the ground, shivering at the thought of divorcing Snowflakes Frost. Would I ever see her in my house again? Had she conspired with Lencia?
“Fire the secretary, Veyron. Make sure she never sets foot in F.A.A.R. again,” I muttered,
