My mind froze. The prisoner stopped and tilted his head to look at me. He smirked and stepped forward to clutch
the bars of his cell.
I dragged my gaze away from him because I had to focus on Shir, but why was it I had this feeling that he was. connected to this incident? From the corner of my eyes, I saw Zoe and Fenris coming inside. Unlike all other times, this time Zoe didn’t stand right next to Graham. She stood behind him at a distance.
“I won’t release him!” Graham growled. “He was caught selling secrets of the pack to that wolf.” He pointed to
the wolf in the next cell.
“Who caught him?” I asked.
