“Both she and Luna Vivienne drugged your drink that day to make sure you slept with her. But my spy changed the water and replaced it with a sleeping tablet, so nothing happened between you two p>
“She was pregnant all this time. A child that’s barely two weeks old can’t be detected yet; it would usually be visible after about four weeks,” she said, as if she had experienced it before.
“Who’s out there?” I asked, and a guard ran in immediately.
“Gather the elders and send word to Alpha Gotham of the Redmoon Pack and Mr. Mico, everyone present when the news of Sheela’s pregnancy was announced,” I ordered.
“What’s this meeting for, son? Have you finally decided to make Sheela your wife?” my mom asked calmly.
“You’ll find out soon,” I replied, without looking at her. How could she plan with a woman to drug me just because she wants us to end up together? Does she have to go that far for me to be with a woman I don’t want to be with?
“Alpha Christian, I’m glad you invited me yourself, because I was planning to meet you personally. But now that you’ve called for a meeting, I guess I will have to discuss what I wanted to, here and now,” Alpha Gotham said.
“Since you’re an elder, go ahead and say what you need to say before I share mine,” I urged with a smile.
“My daughter made a complaint to me. You’ve been neglecting her ever since this girl you planned to marry came back, and you still haven’t made any move about the marriage. “What do you mean by that? What has she put into your head this time around for you to say such things? Why would you let her get into your head, and why would you think I would do such a thing to you?” Sheela asked, pretending to cry.

A baby that’s barely two weeks old can’t be detected just by checking your pulse; it has to be at least a month old to be noticed. Yet you announced your pregnancy two weeks after having your fabricated encounter with him. That sounds absurd, Sheela. I believe you were pregnant before this dirty act of yours,” I said.
