“Adrian, I haven’t been fine these past few days. Can you believe Amira is alive? And now she’s the executive director of Mico’s Technology and Energy Reservation Company p>
“What! You mean the cursed Omega who died five years ago?” he asked, shocked.
“Shh… let’s keep our voices down,” I said, not wanting him to attract the attention of other soldiers in the pack.
“Yes, it’s Amira, the cursed Omega. I was just as shocked as you when I got the news from Luna Vivienne,” I added.
“This can’t be possible. Are you absolutely sure it’s really Amira? Have you made any findings about her?” he asked, now visibly worried.
“Not yet, but she claimed to be Emily Wallace. I still have this suspicion that she’s Amira from our pack,” I said, my eyes narrowing.
“I killed her five years ago. She was long gone and never to be heard of again. That lady can’t be Amira. The Amira I know wouldn’t even have the standards to be a secretary, let alone an executive director of a well-known company. She’s a dull, weakling,” he said with assurance.
“Exactly. I thought the same thing, but we still need to investigate this so-called Emily, just to make sure we’re safe,” I said, glancing at his side profile.
“Yes, I know. I’ll make sure to look into her as soon as possible,” he said, and quickly left the room.
Alpha Christian’s POV
I hope she accepts my business proposal. I don’t have much time left. So much has happened since we left Mico’s Technology and Energy Reservation Company—it’s no longer a firm. There’s a lot running through my mind, and I can’t concentrate on anything. It’s either I think about my family business or I think about Amira. Going home to Sheelah and Mum makes it even worse, so I prefer staying in suites out here.
I miss Amira so much that I just want to have her in my arms again. I’m still convinced that Emily is Amira. I mean, she looks exactly like my Amira—the green eyes, the pointed nose, the full apple lips, and her sexy curves. The only difference is her hair; it seems a little different from the past years, I thought as I looked through the window.

I really can’t wait for the investigation into Emily to be over. I need to be sure she’s my Amira before confronting Mr. Mico. I don’t mind cutting off the deal. I’ll stop at nothing to make sure I have my Amira back in my mansion.
Sheelah is the last person I could imagine spending my life with as my mate and Luna of the Moonlight pack. She doesn’t suit the position at all. And to think that she believes she’s better than Amira in every way? I guess that’s only in her dreams. And my mother makes me sick every time she praises Sheelah, making her think she’s someone worthy of having me. I thought to myself with a wicked smile.
“I would love to have a one-on-one meeting with Emily, apart from the business meetings. I have a lot of questions to ask, and only she can give me the answers I’m seeking,” I muttered slowly.
